Recently, our US chapter launched the BYF Mental Health Toolkit also known “The Bloom Box,” a self-care box designed to help students manage stress, build confidence, and support their mental well-being. Packed with journaling tools, affirmation cards, planning sheets, breathing exercises, and calming aromatherapy, this toolkit gives teens easy, practical ways to cope with anxiety, digital bullying, and everyday overwhelm.

What’s Inside the BYF Mental Health Toolkit
Each toolkit includes thoughtfully selected items designed to help teens feel grounded, confident, and supported:
- Journaling Notepad: a space for expressing thoughts, managing emotions, and tracking mood.
- Affirmation Cards & Stickers: daily reminders that support self-esteem and positive thinking.
- Time-Management Sheets: simple tools to reduce academic stress and stay organized.
- Breathing Technique Cards: step-by-step guides for box breathing and relaxation exercises.
- Scented Candle or Aromatherapy Spray: encourages calming routines and emotional regulation.
- Decorated BYF Shoebox: packed with colorful tissue paper and BYF-branded stickers for a warm, uplifting unboxing experience.
- Aromatic Calming Tea: Aromatic calming teas include chamomile, peppermint, lavender, and lemon balm, known for their soothing aromas and stress-reducing properties
